Andy and Judy have taken up the ancient art of beekeeping. After years of interest and prolonged reading and investigation they took the leap in 2011 starting with three hives.
The first year is taken up with getting the colonies started and established and getting frames drawn out with the necessary beeswax comb, however as luck would have it one hive produced surplus honey by July. The harvest was small but wonderful. Who knows how far this will go?

A few pictures are included on this page and the beekeeping saga will be updated from time to time. The main purpose of this posting is to let you know what is going on around the VueHaus.
If excess honey is produced in the future it will be available under the label of “VueHaus Garden Honey”
